About the Webinar: Supervision has long been a cornerstone of becoming an LMFT. In today's world, supervision often takes place virtually. This webinar will focus on navigating supervision in the online space. Topics will include the benefits and pitfalls of online supervision, along with other aspects beneficial for attendees offering virtual supervision. REGISTER NOWAbout the speaker: Dr. Tim Parker, PhD, LMFT-S (TX), LMFT (CO) is an Associate Professor and the Assoicate Program Director forInternship in ACUs online MFT program. He completed his Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University where his dissertation focused on coping and resilience in couples who have a child with Down Syndrome. He also holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Dr. Parker completed his Bachelor’s degree at Rochester College in Michigan. He has a private practice where he works with couples, families, and individuals experiencing a wide range of life stressors. His research interests range from suicide prevention with men in intimate relationships to systems theory and its relationship with the ecclesiastical community. When not teaching or providing therapy, Dr. Parker enjoys the finer things in life such as spending time with family friends, eating smoked meats, and cheering on his beloved Detroit Lions. |
