Standing in Solidarity: Confronting the Uncomfortable

ONLINE, March 4-6, 2021

The Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (TAMFT) is taking the 2021 Annual Conference online to ensure a safe, accessible experience where you can learn, network, and grow with fellow MFTs. Although we wish we could be together in person, TAMFT is focused on creating a dynamic, immersive experience for our members.

The 2021 Conference experience will be hosted online Thursday, March 4, through Saturday, March 6 (see workshops here). Attendees can expect high-quality professional learning, creative community building experiences, actionable ideas, and practical tools to help you address the needs of your clients. More than 15.5 live CEUs will be available, including keynote sessions by master LMFTs Elliott Connie and Dr. Tequilla Hill.

Standing in Solidarity: Confronting the Uncomfortable isn’t just about our work with clients. It’s also about our role as agents of social change, as allies, our responsibility to address biases, marginalization, and systemic racism within ourselves, and within our communities. How are we addressing systemic racism and oppression within the MFT system? How are we reaching out to and elevating the voices of our marginalized colleagues? How are we addressing barriers to becoming an MFT that exist for minorities?

All sessions will be recorded and will be available to attendees for viewing through May 6, 2021–giving you 2 months to watch more than 30 hours of on demand MFT courses! Registration is now open; click below for more information.
