Understanding that spirituality is an important component to therapy, attendees will learn how to integrate the client's faith into sessions and reflect on ways it has helped and/or hindered client's presenting problems. While maintaining sensitivity and ethical standards, attendees will learn how to use spirituality as a positive component to sessions, while also knowing when it is best to refer to other therapists more aligned with the client's particular faith and spirituality.
