About the Webinar: Supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and families has been a continued growth edge in the field of counseling. With unique issues for counselors and clients often brought on by larger systems of power and political climate, it is crucial that we as clinicians continue to be informed while also providing the most effective approaches in supporting our clients as they come to us at any point in their journey. This presentation hopes to provide clinicians with deeper insight into common issues faced by families of transgender youth in seeking care and helpful tools in facilitating an empowered, compassionate space for the gender-creative family system.
