Faith, Therapy, and Ethics:
How to integrate in a way that makes sense for you but, most importantly, your clients
Speaker: Tim Parker, Ph.D., LMFT-S
Cost: Members: Free | Non-Members $30
1.0 Ethics CEU

About the Webinar:

For those who are religious, their faith is often a central part of who they are. This is true for clients as well. Figuring out how to be a therapist who is true to who they are while at the same time being ethically responsible to their clients and the profession is a challenging endeavor for some. This presentation will focus on how clinicians can navigate the intersection of faith and therapy both for them and for their clients.

Learning objectives:

  1. Attendees will be able to identify common pitfalls of integrating faith and ethics
  2. Attendees will learn how to talk about your faith without talking about your faith
  3. Attendees will learn how to encounter clients who have a different faith than their own in a way that respects the client
